Do not place Eddie Royal alongside Demaryius Thomas in the group of injured of Broncos receivers. Thomas is expected to miss at least half the season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon. Put Royal in the healthy group that includes the likes of Brandon Lloyd, Eric Decker and Jabar Gaffney. Royal had hip surgery in February by Vail’s Dr. Marc Philippon, who has performed similar operations on the likes of Alex Rodriguez, Kurt Warner and Brandon Marshall. “I’m ready to go,†Royal said after running routes for quarterback Brady Quinn following conditioning workout Thursday at Valor Christian High School. “I will not miss a day of practice. I can’t wait to get out there and run through these plays and get back out there with the guys.†Royal had 59 catches in a bounce-back season in 2010, but only two in his final three games as the hip that had been bothering him all season became increasingly a problem.
