An interesting subplot is developing that is setting up for a Anquan Boldin trade next season. The Cardinals are 5-1 in games Boldin has missed the past two seasons, and are adjusting to a lineup without him, with contributions from Steve Breaston, Jerheme Urban and now Early Doucet. Coach Ken Whisenhunt isn't blowing smoke when he says the Cardinals are a better team with Boldin, but Boldin's continued vocal displeasure with the organization is pushing it closer to a decision that says trade him next season and get something in return, instead of letting his contract run out and get nothing.
