Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer was arrested for domestic violence on Wednesday, reports Arizona TV anchor Tyler Baldwin. CBS confirmed Dwyer's arrest and reported that he has been charged with aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 911. Baldwin also reported that Dwyer is being questioned from a fight with his wife "from awhile ago." She reportedly saved the records of her injuries. Dwyer's reported arrest comes as NFL faces heavy scrutiny over its handling of domestic violence cases. Dwyer, 25, is listed as the No. 2 running back on the Cardinals' depth chart. He has rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries over two games this season. He signed with Arizona this offseason after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cardinals (2-0) host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. http://www.si.com/nfl/2014/09/17/jonathan-dwyer-cardinals-domestic-violence-arrest
Cardinals deactivated him. It's reported his wife has a broken nose. What the hell is wrong with these guys? This problem has been all over the news and they still can't help themselves
If it were up to GM Steve Keim he'd cut him tonight and deal with the NFLPA later. I know Dwyer's been deactivated, screw that. Just cut him.
Remember when you could beat an underage dog and nobody gave a crap? Jim Brown remember...crap, no, I mean PEPPERIDGE FARM REMEMBERS.
An underage dog is one thing, throwing your shoe at an 18 month old kid is another. I guess there was a day when that was no big deal either.
