The San Diego Chargers announced Friday that they have signed veteran backup quarterback Kyle Boller. Boller comes to the team one day after backup Charlie Whitehurst suffered a knee injury. Early estimations and reports indicated Whitehurst could miss at least two to three weeks of time. Boller, a former first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens, spent last season as a backup for the Oakland Raiders, he had worked out for the Tennessee Titans earlier this week.
