Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd has returned to practice two weeks after straining his right knee in a collision with cornerback Shareece Wright. Floyd says it was nice to be on the field with his teammates rather than doing work on the side. He caught passes from Philip Rivers during individual drills and says he was in and out of team drills. Floyd hopes to be able to play in the season opener Sept. 9 against Houston. Healthy Floyd and Vincent Brown will make both Rivers and Gates happy. Just wonder how much the old horses have left.
