The Redskins have announced the signing of eight players to their practice squad a day after finalizing their 53-man roster. All eight players had spent the preseason with Washington. First-year cornerback Chase Minnifield, first-year defensive lineman Dominique Hamilton and first-year wide receiver Lance Lewis led the way. Running back Jawan Jamison, a seventh-round draft pick, and four undrafted rookies -- wide receiver Nick Williams, tackle Xavier Nixon, guard Tevita Stevens and inside linebacker Will Compton -- rounded out the practice squad.
