Colts starting cornerback Jerraud Powers will miss Thursday night’s game at Jacksonville with an injury to his right big toe, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports. Interim coach Bruce Arians had already ruled out Vontae Davis, the other starting corner.

“Next guy up,’’ Arians said today.

That would be Darius Butler, who’ll start in place of Powers. Cassius Vaughn will make his second straight start for Davis. Josh Gordy will handle nickel corner duties while Marshay Green, a recent addition to the active roster from the practice squad, will be the fourth corner.

“You’ve got to come in here and play as a starter,’’ Arians said. “If you accept anything less than that, you’ll get less.’’
