Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said injured center Phil Costa (back), who did conditioning work but did not take part in today’s practice with the San Diego Chargers, is unlikely to practice Thursday at Cowboys Stadium and is not expected to play in Saturday’s pre-season game against the St. Louis Rams. Costa, out since Aug. 10, has yet to play in one of the team’s pre-season games. Garrett said the goal if for Costa to play in the final pre-season game, Aug. 29 against Miami at Cowboys Stadium.
