Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle had a blood alcohol content that was double the legal limit when he was arrested last week in Grapevine, Texas.

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas, was arrested early last Tuesday after crashing his truck into an 18-wheeler and according to the police report he failed three field sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer at the scene. Per MacMahon, 2 ½ hours later a blood sample was acquired after a search warrant was issued. Ratliff refistered 0.16 when the test was conducted.

Per the probable cause affidavit, Ratliff was “verbally abusiveâ€￾ after he was arrested. Ratliff complained that injuries could have affected his ability to perform the field sobriety tests.
