Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee, who is out for the season, underwent surgery on his right big toe. A source close to the third-year veteran said it “went well.†Lee, who was injured in the third quarter of the Cowboys’19-14 victory over Carolina on Oct. 21, had a torn plantar plate and suffered damage in the medial and lateral ligaments. He was placed on the team’s injured reserve list Wednesday. Lee will have to go through four to six months of rehabilitation but is expected to be fully recovered by the time off-season workouts begin in 2013. Source: Dallas Morning News
