The Dallas Cowboys have signed rookie safety Mana Silva off the Buffalo Bills practice squad, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports. Safety Barry Church (shoulder) has been placed on injured reserve to add Silva to the 53-man roster. Originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Hawaii, the 6-foot, 206-pound Silva had seven tackles in the preseason before he was waived and re-signed to the practice squad. Silva spent seven weeks on the Ravens' practice squad before joining the Bills' practice squad in Week 10. By signing off a practice squad, the $66,176 in base salary Silva will earn over the next three weeks is guaranteed.
