The Dallas Cowboys signed Georgia Southern safety J.J. Wilcox, one of their two third-round picks in April's draft, on Wednesday. The Cowboys have now signed five of their seven draft picks, leaving only first-round center Travis Frederick and second-round tight end Gavin Escobar unsigned. Wilcox's four-year contract will be worth approximately $2.73 million. Over the last month, Wilcox has impressed Cowboys coaches in off-season practices. He was active and got his hands on several passes during team drills. Source: Dallas Morning News
