The Dolphins under Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland have been looking in Canada for football talent according to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post. Outside linebacker Cameron Wake was plucked from the B.C. Lions last year, fullback Rolly Lumbala also played two years for the Lions, receiver Ryan Grice-Mullen returned kicks for B.C. last year, and CFL alums James Robinson and Tearrius George were invited to Dolphins' training camp in 2009. Once again, the Dolphins are canvassing Canada in search of hidden gems in the CFL, whose regular season starts on Sunday. Our spies at CFLDaily.com spotted Brian Gaine, the Dolphins' assistant director of player personnel, in Vancouver yesterday scouting the Lions' practice, and another Dolphins scout at a Saskatchewan Roughriders practice. And noted at the bottom of a report in the Montreal Gazette, Dolphins scout Dwayne Joseph was seen cfreaking out the Montreal Allouettes yesterday. The Dolphins almost certainly had scouts at several other CFL camps yesterday, as well.
