It still seems the Vikings' best bet for next season is to try to trade with Philadelphia for backup QB Kevin Kolb. But without a third-round draft pick they gave New England for receiver Randy Moss, that will be difficult. If Michael Vick takes the Eagles deep into the playoffs, he'll either receive a lucrative contract extension or the franchise tag -- if that ends up in the new CBA. The Eagles will want a first-round draft pick for Kolb, but that seems like a stretch at this point. Source: Pioneer Press
so, they don't have a 3rd? would he be worth their 2nd even though the vikes will have a fairly high 2nd rounder? maybe give the eagles a 4th and then a 2012 draft pick contingent upon his 2011 performance?
With his low salary next year, I don't think Kolb is going anywhere, unless they get an offer that blows them out of the water.
