Free-agent quarterback Vince Young threw the ball well at Texas' pro day on Tuesday, according to NFL.com scouting analyst Gil Brandt. Young later told the website that "did OK" and is hopeful for the "blessing and opportunity" to play in the league again. With the Longhorns having no QB prospects for the 2013 draft, it was a chance for Young, a 2006 first-rounder (third overall to Tennessee), to convince teams he still has the arm, accuracy and mobility to contribute—at least in a backup capacity. According to NFL.com, Young mentioned there were "some teams with interest," later narrowing them down to a "couple." Young, since his falling out with the Titans, had a good stint as a No. 2 for the Eagles in 2011 but didn't stick with the Bills last season. Source: Sporting News
