The New York Giants have placed starting middle linebacker Dan Connor on injured reserve. Connor is dealing with a neck injury that sidelined him during a game against the Dallas Cowboys, which prompted Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to make fun of the Giants and say the NFC East rivals were faking injuries. Connor never went back in the game, though, and obviously his injury is serious. The Giants replaced Connor on the roster as they claimed former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Allen Bradford, a converted running back, off waivers, according to a league source. Bradford played running back at USC and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers two seasons ago before converting to linebacker in Seattle. Source: National Football Post
