Indiana WR Cody Latimer to enter NFL draft

    Indiana wide receiver Cody Latimer is skipping his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

    Latimer, a second-team All-Big Ten selection this past year, announced his departure on Twitter, where he thanked Indiana for preparing him to make the jump.

    The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Latimer led Indiana with 72 receptions for 1,096 yards and nine touchdowns. He finished third in the Big Ten in both receptions and receiving yards, and had three consecutive 100-yard receiving performances.

    He had 805 yards and six touchdowns as a junior.

    Latimer is the second Big Ten receiver to declare early for the NFL draft, joining Allen Robinsonfrom Penn State.
