Maurice Jones-Drew's leverage to try and get a new contract from the Jacksonville Jaguars has been to hold out all of the team's off-season, training camp and, thus far, preseason. It's a tactic that isn't working, if new Jaguars owner Shahid Khan is to be believed, according to Yahoo Sports. “Believe me,†Khan said, “on a zero-to-10 level of stress, this doesn’t even move the needle.†Khan was busy celebrating the debut of receiver Justin Blackmon, who caught a touchdown pass from Blaine Gabbert in Friday night's preseason win over the New Orleans Saints, and at least outwardly, the Jones-Drew issue was far from his mind. He’s not here, and that’s his decision,†Khan said of Jones-Drew, who has two years remaining on the five-year, $31-million deal he signed in 2009. “Believe me, it’s not a great concern. You hope for the best, and you plan for the worst. Our goals for the season don’t change, and if he isn’t here, he isn’t here. I don’t control it. It’s his choice.â€
