Aaron Berry now has another obstacle in his NFL career. This one was beyond his control. The New York Jets announced that Berry suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice on Friday. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Berry has a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to a source who spoke with the player. "He's staying positive and will decide tomorrow on surgery date (within a week)," the source said. It's a terrible setback for Berry, who was in line for a reserve cornerback role this season.
