Bryan Thomas, the longest-tenured Jet on the 2012 roster, will seek probation after being accused of assaulting his wife and possessing marijuana and what is believed to be hydrocodone.

The complaint was filed against Thomas on Oct. 31 during the team's bye week and said that he "pushed his wife with a kitchen chair, punched her in the stomach, and grabbed her by the neck," according to a report from the Daily Record.

Thomas played the next week against Seattle and led the team in tackles. The Daily Record report says the linebacker was in possession of: "A Havannah hookah, a pack of ZigZag rolling papers, a box of Phillies Blunt Cigars, and six small glass vials, all allegedly used to smoke or store marijuana. The suspected hydrocodone was found in an orange Walgreens prescription bottle with no label."

Thomas is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5 in Morristown.
