A week after owner Woody Johnson made headlines by proclaiming that â€I think you can never have too much Tebow,†Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez responded with a bit of humor… and truth. Asked about Johnson’s comments, Sanchez cracked with a smile, “Selling seats, man. Selling seats.†In June, the Jets cut ticket prices for 12,000 upper-tier seats at MetLife Stadium. Sanchez expounded on his one-liner. “ No… obviously Tim helps us,†Sanchez said on Wednesday. “He can run it. He can throw it. He can do it all. Hopefully we’ll give teams their fair share of Tebow and see what they can do.†Sanchez said that he didn’t take Johnson’s comments as a slight toward him. “He’s excited about him,†Sanchez said.
