liked kaep since last year. he is still raw. however i feel he can become a very good qb soon. i think kaep will be starting sooner rather then later

 

Harbaugh is smart, he wants the Saints to have to prepare for both.

 

Even if they do go back to Smith, last night was not exactly a ringing endorsement for his confidence, and it could mess with him. If you're Alex Smith, after that game last night, you want to hear "When healthy, Alex Smith is our QB."

 

That's what the bears had to do. Alex Smith did not become inactive until last night. That screws with a defense.

i think harbaugh knew exactly what he was doing and is seriously considering kaep as their better option at this point.

regardless of how much they want to deny it, they are not enamored with alex smith and feel they can be better at that position.

 

Im convinced that Harbaugh doesnt think before he says things. If I were Alex Smith, Id ask to be traded. First Harbaugh wants to get Manning and now he doesnt know who his starter is going to be.

 

It's rather dumb to say it IMO, whether he's serious or not or trying to make it difficult for another team to prepare. It adds distractions to the team that are really unnecessary at this point in the season while the Niners are on the verge of a nice playoff run.

I see now that Harbaugh is saying that he's got two QBs with Hot Hands...back tracking a little bit?

I thought he said he'll go with the hot hand and then later said he's got two...I could be wrong though...I didn't hear the original comment...

 

yep, it was in the same comment ........... it was actually in the same sentence i believe.

 

Alex Smith has been through way worse then this...........he doesnt care one way or another. Fans boooed him and chanted We want Carr and he could have left at the end of the season but he resigned............Then he resigned again. I highly doubt it effected him in any way.

 

Alex Smith went 13-3 last season and has the Niners rolling now. No need to switch it up since a guy had one good game.
