The 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was announced Saturday at NFL Honors, rewarding several all-time greats who had been on the proverbial doorstep the past few years. Junior Seau, Jerome Bettis, Charles Haley, Tim Brown, Will Shields, Mick Tingelhoff, Ron Wolf and Bill Polian will receive their busts and gold jackets in Canton this summer. Tingelhoff was a Veterans Committee candidate while Wolf and Polian entered under the auspices of the new Contributor sub-committee. Noticeably missing are former Indianapolis Colts legend Marvin Harrison as well as Orlando Pace and Kurt Warner of the "Greatest Show on Turf" St. Louis Rams. If the 2015 class is any indication, that trio will be honored in the coming years. Source
Yeah St. Louis fans couldn't be happy with Warner and Pace not making it, but they will both be added eventually.
I agree that both will be added eventually, but if they're going to be added in the future then why not now? Something I just don't get.
Yeah, I don't understand the way they vote either. They hate people getting in on first ballot most of the time.
Seau wouldn't have been first-ballot either if he didn't shoot himself. Pat Peterson should take note of that fact.
Favre is elligible now. Will he be first ballot? By the way...I feel old now that most players I actually watched are getting to the HOF.
