Veteran cornerback Al Harris, who had settled in nicely to his new home with the St. Louis Rams, will miss the remainder of the season after he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in the team’s victory at Cleveland today. Harris, who turns 37 next month, played in three games last season with the Miami Dolphins after recovering from a torn ACL suffered in his left knee in 2009 as a member of the Green Bay Packers. The 14-year-veteran was a fixture in Green Bay for seven seasons. The Packers gave Harris a Super Bowl ring because he spent half of last season on the team’s physically unable to perform list before he was let go. Chances are this injury could end of Harris, who was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round in 1997.
