The Detroit Lions will yet again have to depend on backups in the secondary. On Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, the Lions will be without safeties Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey, who remain out with injuries. Delmas is still recovering from a knee injury, whereas Spievey hasn't yet been cleared to return from a concussion.

Listed as questionable are: WR Calvin Johnson (Knee), WR Titus Young (Knee), OT Corey Hilliard (Knee), DE Cliff Avril (Back) and DT Corey Williams (Knee). Listed as probable are: RB Mikel Leshoure (Ankle), LB DeAndre Levy (Hamstring), LB Stephen Tulloch (Knee), CB Chris Houston (Illness) and S Erik Coleman (Toe).
