The Detroit Lions have released defensive tackle Jovan Haye to likely make for Ndamukong Suh on its roster. Haye was signed by Detroit late Thursday night last week and played against Minnesota on Sunday. Despite only playing seven snaps, Haye had two tackles, but was still released by the Lions on Tuesday. Suh returned from his two-game suspension yesterday and will play against Oakland on Sunday. The release also could mean Detroit believes defensive tackle Nick Fairley is closer to returning from his ankle injury, for now, it means Haye is unemployed. Source: Mlive.com
