The Lions have released wide receiver Brian Robiskie. Robiskie, signed by the Lions on Oct. 24 after Nate Burleson was placed on the injured list, caught four passes for 44 yards in limited work. The Lions presently have 12 receivers on the roster and they recently missed out on two free agents — Domenik Hixson (signed with Panthers) and Darrius Heyward-Bey (Colts). Of the 12 receivers, seven of them are slot receivers, including starter Burleson, Ryan Broyles, Mike Thomas and Devin Thomas. With Robiskie gone, the Lions have just five wide outs — Calvin Johnson, Kris Durham, Patrick Edwards, former Redskin Terrence Austin and Dominique Curry. Source: Detroit News
