The Detroit Lions are still in the market for cornerback help, and they may have found their man in Drayton Florence. Lions receiver Kassim Osgood caused a minor stir on Twitter today when he sent out a welcome message to Florence, his former teammate with the San Diego Chargers. “We would like to welcome Drayton Florence to the Lions!†Osgood wrote. The deal is not yet official, two Lions sources said, but it could be soon. Florence, who played five seasons with Osgood and shares an agent (Drew Rosenhaus) with him, is expected in town for a visit and physical today. Source: Detroit Free Press
