Police say a stabbing near Candlestick Park before the San Francisco 49ers' home game against the New York Giantson Sunday was sparked by an opposing team's jersey. Police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said Monday that a verbal altercation between an Elk Grove man and two San Francisco men escalated into a physical confrontation because the Elk Grove man was wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey. Andraychak said 22-year-old Kristopher Viana tried to stab two other people, then stabbed the victim. Then, according to police, the second man, 30-year-old Alexandro Arguelles, punched at least one person as the two suspects ran from the area. Viana and Arguelles were arrested after witnesses called police. Source: NFL.com
again ... at least the guy didnt boo a draft pick because thats really bad fan behavior that deserves 14yrs of mention.
you should not wear jerseys from other teams in other cities. you should only wear 9er jerseys in SF, Cowboy jerseys in Dallas..... Where do you think you live? In a country where you have the right to wear anything you want? Puleeese. That is the old U.S.
i saw two guys in a bigger group of fans at the eagles/giants game as i was in the pisser line, one wearing a gore jersey and the other a dez bryant. beyond some fun mocking from both eagles and giants fans and looking utterly stupid nothing became of it.
Remember TJ, their homicide rate is among the numbers of those countries As I already said in another thread, this is like the Hooligan/Ultras crap we have over here. (While we didn't had any killed ppl over the last years). There is a lot of violence araond the stadiums and not much you can do against it
Definitely not the same situation but i went to the Niners game vs the Jets and seen a Jets fan squirt ketchup on a dudes White 49er jersey . What would u do in that situation ?
