For those who think NBC analyst Rodney Harrison has been sounding off in too many places lately, there's one less spot to look. ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed on Friday that Harrison's Twitter account -- where the former player purportedly got into a argument with Jets safety Kerry Rhodes last week and then harshly criticized 49ers holdout Michael Crabtree -- is a fake. The person who operates the Harrison Twitter account later confirmed it. Source: USA Today
How many stories out there that we've seen can just be because of fake twitter accounts. Pathetic, these stories shouldn't even be created without confirming the twitter accounts first.
Wow, how lame. More "famous" people need to get 'verified accounts' (see pic below). Especially if things are being reported as news.
This just in, Adam Schefter reported this from a fake twitter account, and Rodney Harrison's was real.
We'd be behind the times going that route. NFL news breaks on Twitter before anywhere else these days. Getting it from verified accounts is important though.
you guys realize his user name was rodneyh37..... seriously **********Automerged Doublepost********** ..
yep, i can see this turning into a major fiasco if 'news' items get reported with unverified accounts.
