I didn't really know where else to put this, so if it is the wrong spot, Mods please let me know so I don't make this mistake twice. :)

    Anywho......

The wife and I got into a debate.. She thinks that an NHL player takes more abuse than an NFL player. Now I know that some positions take more abuse than others... But this is just in general..

What sport is harder on it's athletes? NHL or NFL????

I believe it is the NFL, my wife thinks it is the NHL... Help us with this debate..

    Thanks GIF!!

My guess is the NFL, endurance wise I think the NHL would win but overall abuse, NFL wins...

The O and D line play alone make the NFL stand out as harder. These guys crunch every single play, but I have respect for Hockey players, that's for sure.

Most football players are cripples in their 30s and 40s. Most hockey players are cripples in their 40s and 50s. Football wins, I guess.
