The Denver Broncos have no plans to talk with offensive tackle Ryan Clady's agent, Pat Dye, Jr., here at the NFL Combine, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

The Broncos are expected to place the franchise tag on Clady, which is $9.66 million, and Clady will likely stay away from the team's off-season work rather than signing the tender.

Clady has had shoulder surgery in the off-season, which could complicate the situation a little bit in Denver. But the two sides are still hopeful of eventually working out a long-term contract.

"We have to see what comes out of that," Broncos vice president of operations John Elway said. "But the only thing that tells that is time. We'll continue to work with Ryan and his group and try to get something done, because we'd like to get something done."
