So with QB looking like this. 1st Rodgers 2nd Peyton 3rd Brees 4th Tom Brady 5th Big Ben Now we go to WR. Do we really need to do the top WR?
Yea probably should have just started with #2 on this one lol. But Brandon Marshall should at least be on the list.
Yea I'm still going with Fitz. As a fan, i feel a little bit cheated out of watching how great he could have been with a decent qb his whole career.
Fitzgerald has averaged about 800 yards and 7 TDs the last two seasons Josh Gordon had 1,600 yards with Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell
Im certainly thinking career and not current studs.. As far a Josh G is concerned when compared to Fits you have to look at the systems they're in, the O line and QB. AZ has had serious OLINE and QB issues for awhile, which certainly impacted fits. If you want to use stats to measure these guys it gets really one sided... nevertheless, Fitz drop rate is ALWAYS among the best. But Fitz at least had a decent QB in Palmer, Gordon had Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell. Clevelands OL may have been better the Arizonas, but not by much I dont care whats hes done in the past, a WR that has averaged 800 yards and 7 TDs in two years isnt in the discussion for the 2nd best WR in football. Not when you have guys like AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant, Ashlon Jeffery, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon and Demarious Thomas all making very compelling cases
If you're talking about the best WR in today's game.. then no not Fitz in the top 5 - But overall, no doubt he's in the top 5.
