The New England Patriots will be without Rob Gronkowski, Chandler Jones and Logan Mankins when they travel to face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, The Star-Ledger's Conor Orr reported. Gronkowski being out was no surprise after he underwent surgery this week on a broken forearm. Jones hurt an ankle in a win over the Indianapolis Colts and did not return. He has 34 tackles, a team-high six sacks and three forced fumbles as a rookie defensive end. Mankins missed last week's game with ankle and calf injuries and this will make four of the past five games he's will miss. Source: NFL.com
