The New England Patriots’ secondary has suffered another hit. It was recently learned by ESPN that safety Devin McCourty had a routine procedure performed on one of his shoulders shortly after the AFC Championship Game and is currently rehabilitating. The procedure was considered routine and McCourty is expected to be ready in time for training camp. It is not known how or when the injury occurred. The safety suffered a separated right shoulder in 2011, but managed to play through the pain. Source: MassLive.com
