Patriots tight end Daniel Fells will rejoin the team at practice very soon, as he is set to be activated from the physically unable to perform list, according to a source. Fells had been resting an old shin injury that gave him some issues earlier this offseason, which caused him to miss a stretch of workouts in the spring. He didn’t participate in all 18 practices of training camp. Fells caught 19 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Broncos. Fells signed a three-year deal worth up to $7 million, including a $1 million signing bonus, this offseason. Source: Boston Herald
