New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola had a disappointing first season with the team, after signing a five-year deal during free agency. In the season opener, Amendola suffered a torn adductor longus tendon, which was a big part of his struggles and now he will need the injury to repair in the offseason. As Amendola prepares to recover, he received some good news, according to Mass Live. The injury can heal on its own with some simple rest, which is the route that Amendola and the Patriots will take in hopes of avoiding any offseason surgery.
