The Raiders continue to be impressed by the work of Ricky Brown as a reserve linebacker and special teams player, giving the five-year veteran a second-round tender. Brown, who played in 14 games with one start for an injured Rolando McClain, joined the Raiders in 2006. Upon completion of a collective bargaining agreement, there’s a good possibility five-year veterans will be granted unrestricted free agency. However, the designation is a hint that the Raiders are serious enough about keeping him that it’s likely he’ll be back. Source: Oakland Tribune
