The Oakland Raiders announced they have re-signed veteran unrestricted free agent Khalif Barnes, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Wednesday.

Barnes, entering his ninth NFL season, has played the last four years with the Raiders, seeing action in 47 games with 30 starts. He started nine games at right tackle in 2012, missing seven contests due to a groin injury suffered in Week 2 at Miami. He started all 16 games at right tackle for Oakland in 2011.

The 6-foot-6, 321-pound lineman has played in 107 career games with 87 starts since entering the NFL as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ second-round selection (52nd overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft, he originally signed with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent in 2009.
