The Raiders announced today they signed free agent linebacker Vic So'oto, another former Green Bay Packer, and released Carl Ihenacho to clear a spot on the active roster. So'oto played in seven games with the Packers last season, recording seven tackles and a sack on defense. Green Bay placed him on injured reserve with an ankle injury on Aug. 31 and waived him Sept. 10. Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie came from the Packers, where he worked in personnel. The Raiders last week signed cornerback Brandian Ross from the Packers' practice squad, and corner Pat Lee also played in Green Bay last year. Source: Sacramento Bee
