The Rams are bringing back backup QB Kellen Clemens Thursday after releasing him during the team's final roster cuts on Aug. 31. As the primary backup to injury-prone starter Sam Bradford, Clemens was considered a surprise name on the Rams’ final cut list. His release left undrafted rookie Austin Davis as the team’s No. 2 quarterback for the Rams’ Week One game against the Lions. To make room for Clemens, the Rams released fourth-year DT Darell Scott, who hasn’t started a game since his rookie season. Scott was drafted by St. Louis in the fourth round of the 2009 draft.
