For some reason I had it in my head that this was a ppr league.

EDIT: it is, might want to point that out.

I was about to get all indignant about nobody responding to this thread but then I realized that most of GIF's regular FF posters are already in the league. Still to those of you that aren't, thanks for nothing buttholes. See if we have any input on your crappy teams in your crap leagues when you ask for it.

    Y'all gettin uppity....damn.

If I had to take over one team with the players on it, I go with Team J.

And, if Team E wins a week this year, the loser should have to post a video of them shaving their head.

There is no way Team J. He is overvaluing Blount being that he's a bucs fan

Over valuing the man that lead all rookies in rushing yards despite only playing in 14 games??? I have doubts about P.Manning for the first time since his rookie year. Brady is da MF'ing man.

You guys ask for opinions then tear them apart? No wonder no one has commented on the teams.

I disagreed, who tore anything apart? Sounds like someone is a bit sensitive tonight. He led a rookie class of pretty disappointing rookies. He also was pretty piss poor in short yardage and goal line and showed a tendancy to try and leap players rather than use his size to truck anyone that was anywhere near his size. I'll give you Brady vs Manning

but Foster, Rice, DMC v Peterson, Blount, Ingram
    combined with
    AJ,Wayne,Johnson v CJ,Julio Jones, Garcon

in a PPR league and it's not close, but you are more than entitled to your opinion, feel better :)

i think foster going first in most leagues is madness. cant possibly imagine his last year heroics. peterson is obviously my best player, but im investing a lot into blount continuing to be the guy in TB and im rolling the dice on julio and ingram but i could see big numbers for each of them. i dont plan on sticking with garcon, im undecided there.

"its not close" is laughable, but your entitled to your opinion :)

you do know this is a PPR

Last I checked Blount can't catch a cold and Ingram has a healthy Thomas to deal with for receptions. Foster, Rice and DMC had 176 receptions, ingram has Thomas to deal with and Peterson and Blount had a combined 41 receptions last year.

Your receivers (including two #2 WR's) had 144 receptions and add a #2 rookie WR on a team with Roddy White vs my team's receivers with 279 receptions and all are true #1's. That, in a ppr league, equates to your two rookies need to make up around 270 receptions as my team out caught your team 455 receptions to 186 receptions. Even if my guys caught an average of 7 less receptions each, you would need ingram and jones to catch 100 balls each to equal my team's production.

Add to that I have hightower and amendola (ppr machines) for bye weeks and I like my odds at scoring more each week.

Im not going to front, Ox is way out in front right now to me. Manning dependent, but even without him he has a hell of a roster. The only people I see potentially challenging him right now (if everyone stays healthy) are Ktrain, baskett (I cant believe Im saying that), or myself, but all 3 of us have to have some crap come together to make it happen. Thats my honest take.

Blount is a baller in a good situation and I think he's going to go big this year, but he's not all that in a PPR big play league.

  18. K Train

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

you have baskett syndrome that your team is the best no matter what.

do you know how idiotic you sound telling me how many passes my RBs have to catch to equal your production that doesnt exist yet?

  19. Chipper10

Chipper10 Back 2 Back! Roll Tide Roll!

Mark Ingram has to deal with no one taking anything. Pierre won't be the starter in New Orleans come the end of the season. And Ingram will get a lot more touches inside the 20 yard line.

Julio Jones will put up numbers. There's no way defenses can double Roddy, Julio and Tony. Julio is the rookie of the three, he will put up the numbers.

Blount is the man in TB, and he will produce. He doesn't have to have great receiving ability to run the football. Yes, it may be a PPR league, but doesn't mean that running the ball won't get you points. I think people read too much into PPR with Receiving RBs. Not all GREAT RBs have good receiving skills.

im expecting ingram to be a solid starter, but i am really expecting julio to not disappoint...i think they are gonna unleash him in an impressive way
