The Baltimore Ravens moved inside linebacker Jameel McClain to the physically unable to perform list Tuesday, meaning McClain will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season.

McClain is still in the process of working back from the spinal cord contusion he suffered in December.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said last week that Baltimore hasn’t ruled out the possibility of McClain playing this year, but he’s also made it clear that McClain will not return to football activities until the MRI of his spinal cord is clear.

McClain has been a starter for the Ravens each of the last three years.
He had 79 tackles in 13 games last season prior to suffering the injury.
