Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither was not present at Friday's practice, which certainly diminishes his chances of playing Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Gaither, who is dealing with a severe neck injury suffered in the second quarter of Sunday's 27-21 loss to the New England Patriots, did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. And this is a surprise? He looked in pretty serious shape last game being hauled off on a stretcher. You sure don't rush someone back from a neck injury. I wish him well on his recovery, and glad it wasn't as serious as we all thought initially.
