The Ravens are encouraged about the medical outlook for cornerback Lardarius Webb and inside linebacker Jameel McClain, forecasting that both defensive starters could possibly be back by training camp.

Webb is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee suffered last October against the Dallas Cowboys. McClain is still recovering from a spinal cord contusion sustained against the Washington Redskins last December that ended his season.

"Lardarius is on schedule, maybe a little ahead of schedule," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "He looks really good. He should be ready to roll by training camp it looks like. We're going to make sure we don't have a setback, that's the most important thing. With Jameel, it's the same way."

Webb told The Baltimore Sun last week that his prognosis is good and that he's going to be patient in his rehabilitation.
