Yup, I agree. I had a feeling Punk wouldn't have the title after Unforgiven but the way it got taken off him wasn't right.

 

they are working a program between Punk and Orton.

 

Yeah but the World Heavyweight Title in the program would make it look better.

 

It will be. Punk v Jericho in a cage next week on RAW. I fully expect Punk to win it back, via interference from Orton or HBK.

The only thing I can think of is that Vince doesn't think Punk beating Orton would be realistic enough. Not sure why he would think this as Punk has done everything right so far in the ring and backstage and has been getting more pop as weeks went on.

 

Maybe not, but I've read that Punk v Orton for the title is on for Survivor Series, so....one of those two is getting it away from Y2J sooner or later.
