The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that left guard Kory Lichtensteiger has signed his restricted free agent tender and will return to the team for a third season. Lichtensteiger’s base salary will double to $1.2 million next season. The Redskins offered the tender to him March 2. Lichtensteiger, drafted out of Bowling Green in the fourth round by Denver in 2008, is coming off a season in which he started strongly but tore his ACL and MCL in Game 5 against Philadelphia. He had surgery and is expected to be ready to return to action about the start of training camp. Source: Washington Post
