The Washington Redskins have placed defensive tackle Chris Baker on injured reserve, a league source confirmed on Monday. Baker had opened the 2011 season on the Redskins' practice squad and was added to the 53-man roster last week. Baker was not active for Sunday's 34-27 loss to the New England Patriots, so it's unclear when he sustained an injury. To replace Baker, the Redskins have signed former Denver Broncos tight end Richard Quinn. A 2009 second-round pick out of North Carolina, Quinn has one reception for nine yards in 29 career games, including four starts last season for the Broncos.
