The Washington Redskins plan to wait until Saturday to pick their punter for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, Mark Maske of the Washington Post reports.

With their punter, Sav Rocca, plagued by a knee injury suffered while jogging after a practice this week, the Redskins had a workout Friday at Redskins Park for three punters. The group included former Pittsburgh Steelers punter Daniel Sepulveda and former Philadelphia Eagles punter Chas Henry.

Coach Mike Shanahan said Friday that the Redskins planned to have Rocca test his knee Saturday to see if he can punt. If he can’t, the team would have to make a roster move Saturday for Sunday’s game.
