The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that they have signed free agent cornerback David Jones and waived injured cornerback Crezdon Butler. The team also signed defensive lineman Chigbo Anunoby to its practice squad, and released Delvin Johnson, also a defensive lineman, from that squad. Jones spent the preseason with Washington after signing with the team as a free agent two days before the start of training camp. The six-year veteran recorded eight tackles and three pass breakups during the preseason. The 6-foot, 197-pound Jones was among the team’s final roster cuts and hadn’t caught on with another squad.
